{"id":411,"date":"2007-08-23T10:59:21","date_gmt":"2007-08-23T14:59:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/getgood.com\/roadmaps\/?p=411"},"modified":"2007-08-23T10:59:21","modified_gmt":"2007-08-23T14:59:21","slug":"the-w-list","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/getgood.com\/roadmaps\/2007\/08\/23\/the-w-list\/","title":{"rendered":"The W List"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Good things about the W list meme:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lots of linky love for deserving women bloggers.<\/li>\n<li>Exposes new blogs to potential new readers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Not so good things:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No organization, except for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.genpink.com\/the-w-list-outstanding-women-bloggers\/\">one poster<\/a> who took the time to categorize the blogs as of <em>one moment<\/em>. So, no way to quickly find new blogs you might be interested in unless the name is obvious. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Missing things:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The list started as a list of women PR\/Marketing bloggers, and then evolved to women business bloggers, and then just women bloggers. But it&#8217;s pretty much missing a significant segment of the female blogging population: <strong>m<\/strong><strong>oms<\/strong>. Since my marketing colleagues have pretty much covered the PR\/marketing and businesswomen I might have added, here are some of my favorite mom blogs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/mom-101.blogspot.com\/\">Mom 101<\/a>, Liz Gumbinner <\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/blogrhet.blogspot.com\/\">BlogRhet<\/a>, a group blog, all women<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/badladies.blogspot.com\">Her Bad Mother<\/a>, Catherine Connors<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.joyunexpected.com\/\">Joy Unexpected<\/a>, Y<\/li>\n<li><a
