Others have already done a brilliant job with this topic, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deb on the Rocks&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.debontherocks.com\/2009\/06\/announcing-queerosphere-out-loud-party.html\" target=\"_blank\">BlogHer One-Year Cycle<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Motherhood Uncensored&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motherhooduncensored.net\/motherhood_uncensored\/2009\/06\/10-tips-to-help-you-prepare-for-blogher-2009.html\" target=\"_blank\">10 (well 11) Tips <\/a><\/li>\n<li>Christine (BostonMamas) on <a href=\"http:\/\/popdiscourse.com\/2009\/07\/shedding-the-adolescent-baggage-at-blogher\/\" target=\"_blank\">Shedding the Adolescent Baggage at BlogHer<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Mom-101&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mom-101.com\/2009\/07\/bloggers-v-popular-people-pre-blogher.html\" target=\"_blank\">pre-BlogHer Field Guide<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>My personal plan for navigating the social side of BlogHer is simple: have no expectations, enjoy the moment, smile and try to listen more than I speak.<\/p>\n<p>And sunscreen.<\/p>\n<p>No, my post is about the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogher.com\/blogher_conference\/conf\/9\/agenda\/1\" target=\"_blank\"> BlogHer <strong>Conference<\/strong>.<\/a> You remember &#8212; that thing sandwiched in between the parties and swag bags and bowling and private events and makeovers and such?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>BlogHer is a damn brilliant blogging conference. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the sessions I am looking forward to.<\/p>\n<p>Friday at 1:15 &#8211; <strong>Brands and Bloggers.<\/strong> It&#8217;s a great panel, and Jory DesJardins is always an excellent moderator. Plus, FTC regulations,\u00a0 boycotts, lions, tigers and bears. Oh my!<\/p>\n<p>Friday at 2:45 &#8211;<strong> Blog to Book.<\/strong> What can I say. I will finish this book someday.<\/p>\n<p>Friday at 4:45 &#8211; <strong>Community Keynote. <\/strong>It was the best session last year. Full stop.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday at 10:45 &#8211; <strong>Travel Bloggers as Boundary Breaking Evangelists.<\/strong> I&#8217;ve just started<a href=\"http:\/\/snapshotchronicles.com\/roadtrip\" target=\"_blank\"> a family travel blog<\/a> and will also be attending the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelblogexchange.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Travel Blog Exchange <\/a>meeting on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday at 1:30 &#8211; <strong>Women Writing In The Age Of Britney: Pop Culture &amp; Gossip &amp; Feministy Stuff, Oh My.<\/strong> The ladies of MamaPop.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">And of course in the cleanup slot of Saturday at 3:00 pm, we have the panel I am moderating, <strong>Enough About You&#8230;Who&#8217;s Reading You? <\/strong>so I am definitely planning to show up for that one.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">My fellow panelists are Laura Roeder, Twanna Hines and Ree Drummond, and we&#8217;ll be talking with you about the relationship of a blogger with her readers. Do our readers impact how we blog or what we say, or not? Does the author have a responsibility to her readers?<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">We&#8217;re on opposite the Room of Your Own,<strong> Dying is Easy, ROTFLMAO Comedy is Hard: It&#8217;s two, two, two comedy panels in one!<\/strong> with, among others, Deb on the Rocks and the Bloggess, but I&#8217;m still hoping a few of you will show up to talk with us.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Take the time to make your own list of sessions that matter to you.
